I love what I do for a living, but what I love even more is how it permits me to have amazing adventures outside of work. I’m a big proponent of having a work/life balance. I come across a lot of people that work and work and work, but what are they working for if they’re too tired and burnt out to enjoy some time off? I make it a point to leave the country for 1-3 months out of the year and explore and grow. Inspiration is everywhere and I want to feel it and project it back out to everyone around me.
For the next few months I will be backpacking and mountaineering my way through Nepal. While I have lived outdoors for up to 3 months at a time in my past, this is a brand new mental and physical challenge. It’s going to be hard to breathe at 22,000 feet. It’s going to be really cold at night. It’s going to push me. It’s going to make me cry.
I can’t wait.
I’ll be back and ready to work on May 7th with a fresh mind and shifted perspective in my arsenal to graphically record.
Stay tuned for pictures…
